Before starting her own company Mari spent 7 years as a director of retail and marketing at Søylen Eiendom and Promenaden Management, the owners of Steen & Strøm Magasin, Eger Karl Johan and Oslo Fashion District. There she took the lead on strategy, concept development and leasing of retail. Most notably she was instrumental to the revival of the now established Promenaden Fashion District of Nedre Slottsgate, Øvre Slottsgate og Prinsens gate. Her time at the company provided Mari with vast experience and a broad network in the fashion and retail industry.

Mari holds a BA (Bocconi University, Milan) and MBA (ISEM, Madrid) in business management specialized in Fashion and Luxury.
